Academic Achievements
In 1987, Sacred Heart Catholic School joined the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) and began competing in 1991. From1992 to 1995, Sacred Heart Catholic School won the TAPPS Class 1A Overall State championship each year. Then from 1997 to 2009, SHCS has consecutively won the TAPPS Class 2A Overall State Championship, winning the award more than any other school in its division- Class 2A, with 83 schools, being the largest division- by accruing the highest number of total points in academics, art, music, and sports at state level competitions.
